We often get thoughtful questions from our community about the difference between our two prenatal supplements, so we’re taking a moment to share their exciting, beneficial features to help you better understand why we decided to formulate two unique products. For those wondering which one is “better”: our products are kind of like kids to us, we couldn’t possibly choose — we love them both equally! Ultimately, we’re just trying to do everything we can to best suit the diverse wants and needs of our community and offer supplements that help provide mom with the nutrients she may be lacking from diet alone.
We’re committed to providing safe and effective, high-quality supplements that meet your nutritional needs before, during and after pregnancy. We are constantly looking at current science and research to help us guide our decisions whether it’s a new product or a reformulation. You and your family deserve nothing less!
Our Whole-Food Based Prenatal ($39.95) has a suggested serving size of 3 veggie capsules per day and contains a whole food complex blend with ingredients like organic blueberry fruit powder, organic kale powder, organic elderberry fruit powder and more. Our Multi Complete Prenatal Once Daily ($19.95) has a suggested serving size of 1 tablet per day and contains a prenatal Wellness Blend with botanical ingredients like ginger, plum fruit powder, spirulina and marshmallow root powder.
Both supplements are complete multi-vitamins that can help fill the gaps that you may be missing from diet alone before pregnancy, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. They also both contain fruit based digestive enzymes to help support healthy digestion*. Each supplement contains research-based potencies and targeted levels of nutrients in highly bioavailable formats to help support baby’s development*. The Whole-Food Based Prenatal and the Multi Complete Prenatal Once Daily both contain the highly bioavailable formats of the following nutrients: folic acid (folate) as L-Methylfolate, Vitamin A as 100% Beta Carotene and Vitamin B-12 as Methylcobalamin.
Ultimately, choosing a prenatal supplement is based on your personal needs, but here are some factors to consider:
- Do you want to take one pill or three pills every day? (Remember, we recommend taking all three pills to receive the nutrients from the Whole-Food Based Prenatal)
- Does a botanical Wellness Blend sound appealing?
- Are organic ingredients a priority for taking food-based supplements?
- What’s your budget? Will you be ordering online and bundling?
You can pair either of our prenatal supplements with our DHA Complete as part of a more comprehensive prenatal routine. Always be sure to speak with your healthcare provider about nutrition before you conceive, if you are planning to get pregnant in the near future or as soon as you know you are pregnant.
We’re (equally) proud of both of our Honest formulations and stand behind their purity, quality and safety. We’re confident you’ll be delighted with either of them, but we leave the choice to you!
