Meet Honest Social Media Manager April Grohmann

What do you love most about working at Honest?

The people. Hands down. I love the people I get to work with everyday. They are some of the smartest, most passionate, and hard-working people I have ever met, and that is across the board in every department. The people here make me a better person and a better employee.

What is your favorite product?

I take Honest Pre-Natals (hello healthy hair and nails!), DHA, and Immunity Boost daily. My bathroom could be an Honest store shelf, and we only use Honest to clean our apartment too. It's obviously really hard to choose just one.

What is your most memorable Honest moment?

We celebrated the launch in 2012 with a (tiny!) happy hour before many people headed back to the office to keep working. Being part of the small group at launch is something I will never forget — and then to be part of our two year birthday celebration, to see how much we had grown, how far we have come in such a short amount of time. I am grateful to be part of it.

How do you embrace the Honest lifestyle at home?

Small changes make a big impact. At home, we switched all of our food storage containers from plastic to glass and take reusable shopping bags to the store. We buy organic produce when we can, recycle, donate to worthy causes, and really look at ingredients in the things we buy. It all adds up to a healthier life.

If you weren't at work, what would you be doing?

Eating? No. But, really. My boyfriend and I would be at some yummy spot trying as much as we can on the menu. We love finding new places which isn't hard in a city like LA. You can also find us on the couch with our pup, Betsey, watching the latest HBO series or, of course, Top Chef.
